She shared the plans of the tax authorities at a meeting with the business community of Almaty
Former minister and current executive secretary of the Ministry of Finance Natalya Korzhova met with Almaty entrepreneurs and representatives of the financial institutions to explain the measures of the President's Address to the Nation. Korzhova noted a significant decrease in the number of tax audits in 2016, the improvement of the administration and the conditions for doing business.

Speaking about the plans, a representative for the Ministry of Finance emphasized the significant simplification of the delivery of the tax reporting procedures. For the exporter, who applies only electronic invoices, the Finance Ministry will return VAT two times faster, within 30 working days (instead of 60 days). This will enable businesses to obtain more quickly a large amount, to reduce counter checks to 65%.

"In order to improve VAT administration, we will discuss with the business the introduction of a special VAT account. It is also an interesting innovation, ultimately we want to accumulate all VAT on a separate account in the Treasury. Upon calculation each redistribution of goods, VAT will be credited to the account of the suppliers in the treasury. It is convenient and reduces the time of all transactions. Registration will be carried out through on-line portal ESTSF, for what managers need to have a digital signature. 96 thousand members are already registered today in the RK, 20 million invoices were issued, but it is not enough. If the practice is replicated, then inspections will be reduced to a minimum, the business will be conducted in a transparent format. We now have a dilemma, if we will administer this way, do we need so many staff members at the tax authorities? There is a question about the need to streamline the tax body", - said Natalya Korzhova.

She also said that since 2019 the electronic audit will be introduced in Kazakhstan during tax and customs inspections. E-audit will increase the effectiveness of inspections, transparency of their implementation, as well as tax collection. "And all this - part of the digital Kazakhstan, as described in the Address" - concluded Korzhova.
The meeting was finished with a series of questions from private entrepreneurs, to which the executive secretary of the Ministry of Finance has given satisfactory answers.
