Experts of the international commission came to get acquainted with LLP "Petroleum"

Laureate of the award of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Altyn Sapa", the leading freight forwarding company LLP “Petroleum” applied for participation in the Commonwealth of Independent States award for achievements in the field of product quality and services. This prize is awarded every two years to the organizations of the CIS countries for the results in the field of product quality, ensuring its safety, and the introduction of modern quality management methods. The competition for the CIS prize is held in order to support national initiatives and combine efforts of state authorities aimed at increasing the competitiveness of goods and services produced in the CIS, enhancing the export opportunities of the Commonwealth companies. The main criterion for participation in the competition is confirmation of the high quality of the products or services provided for at least the last 2 years and the implementation of export supplies to at least 2 CIS member states.

The group of companies “Petroleum” is the largest operator in Kazakhstan providing forwarding services in the oil and gas sector. In 2016, the company transported a record volume of cargo - 11 million tons of oil and petroleum products. In 2016, the company completed the construction of the railway station and access roads under the project "Development of the transport infrastructure of the Atyrau Oil Refinery". The company owns 3 washing and steaming stations near oil refineries. Representatives of Petroleum are located in Astana, Atyrau, Shymkent, Pavlodar, Aktau, Kyzylorda, at stations Dostyk and Uzen. The transportation geography includes the CIS countries, Afghanistan, seaports of the Black and Azov seas.

"Today we started to study the documentation of the group of companies Petroleum. The commission conducts expert evaluation on the ground, based on the results, conclusions are given indicating the strengths and weaknesses of the organization's activities in the field of quality, as well as proposals for improvement. The jury examines the materials of the finalists of the contest, presented by the national bodies for standardization, metrology and certification of CIS countries. Laureates, diplomats are given the right to use the emblem of the CIS Prize for advertising purposes for 3 years. Participation in the competition gives enterprises the opportunity to declare themselves as a successful, competitive company, to find new customers and partners", Larisa Razumovskaya, expert of the CIS Award from the Republic of Belarus says.

Information about laureates and diploma winners of the contest will be published on the IAS websites (easc.org.by/). The results of the contest will be summed up in October 2017, this year three companies take part in the competition from Kazakhstan: LLP “Petroleum” (Almaty), LLP “Ordabasy Kus” (SKO), KARLSKRONA LC AB (Shymkent). The history of the CIS award starts in 2006, during this time 10 Kazakhstani enterprises were awarded.
